Session 4 - “Building Trust, Bridging Cultures: A Workshop on Intercultural Communication”
Description: How we communicate is culturally learned behavior. Some of us rely more heavily on words, some on context. Some communicate somewhat or very differently when speaking to those in authority as opposed to those who are peers. Some resolve conflict without ever referring to the conflict explicitly. The norms and values of respectful communication differ across cultures. How then do we find shared meaning across cultural differences? Let’s explore this together.
